Hospice Philosophy

 The Hospice Philosophy affirms life.  It accepts death as the final stage of life and recognizes dying as a normal process.  Hospice does not attempt to postpone or hasten death, but to provide support and care for the persons and their families in the last phases of incurable disease so that they might live as fully and comfortably as possible. Dawn Hospice has been serving the Trinity County population since 1992.  We are a group of Hospice Trained volunteers who are dedicated to supporting the dignity and personal choice of our patients and their families at the end stages of their lives.
